The team
This unique Danish team consists of 28 high-level and skilful gymnasts and performers. They are all pure amateurs, aged 20-28.
The team members are selected at an audition. They come from all regions of Denmark. In their spare time they are all locally committed as coaches and gymnastics instructors.
In continuation of the audition, a personal interview with each gymnast emphasizes the importance of the gymnast's ability to act in international and social relations and to communicate the joy of sports, healthy living and physical activity.
In Denmark, the local club culture is based on voluntary commitment. This principle is also distinct at National Danish Performance Team, as each team member pays a rather considerable fee to attend the world tour.
The team combines gymnastics with dance, cheer, vaulting, drama, advanced tumbling and acrobatics.
