BGI Academy

The boarding school with the many opportunities. Gymnastics and ball games combined with the high school preparatory academic education is our core competence. The pupils go through the 9th or 10th grade at the academy, where they live during the year. Good manners and education are important elements in our work with the young people. During the year at the boarding school they also improve significantly in sports. They can specialize in either gymnastics, football or handball.

In gymnastics the opportunities are to do jumping gymnastics, power tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics and dance and as something totally new, we have also combined the jumping gymnastics and football for boys. Our teachers are highly competent in the various sports.

The framework is unique. Students live in small living quarters and the academic teaching takes place in an entirely new educational building. The physical education has sublime framework in the form of a big jumping centre and a mirrored hall. For ball players, we have a sports hall and an artificial turf football field.

With our 356 students, we are Denmark's second largest boarding school.
